Built on the SEAMEO TED Partnership
The Anchor programme ran a four-day workshop on AI and DX teacher development at the Halla Convention Center and other sites across Jeju. SEAMEO TED is the regional centre for technical education development under the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization, and serves as the hub for vocational and technical education across the region. The workshop was designed on that footing.
From the Workshop

Across four days the sessions, exchanges, and site visits ran together. Discussion that started in a room carried out into Jeju's landscape and its industry, and the participants ended up talking about AI and DX teaching in the language of the field rather than the desk.
MOUs, and the Ground for an ODA-Linked ESG Degree
Bilateral MOUs were signed during the workshop between Cheju Halla University and ASEAN partner institutions. They are not closing statements for a four-day event; they commit both sides to designing what follows, including faculty exchange, joint curricula, and student mobility.
Those agreements feed into a planned ODA-linked ESG degree. With ASEAN partners, the university intends to design a degree track combining ESG, AI, and DX, and to use official development assistance to make the pathway sustainable.
A Signature Achievement for STUDY JEJU
The workshop became the signature event of the Anchor programme's STUDY JEJU work on attracting and developing international talent. It showed that Jeju can be more than a place that receives students: it can be the AI and DX teaching hub between ASEAN and Korea.
