Cheju Halla University Holds AI·DX Global Workshop with ASEAN Education Institutions
From April 27 to 30, the CHU RISE Project (Anchor) hosted the 'AI/DX Faculty Capacity Building Global Workshop' under the SEAMEO TED partnership, bringing together over 50 participants including 25 representatives from five ASEAN countries (Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia), and secured MOU agreements and groundwork for an ODA-linked ESG Degree program.

To Hamdeok beach instead of the classroom... An immersive project introducing Stanford d.school methodology. Like astronauts exploring an alien planet, students roamed the streets of Hamdeok, Jeju, creating messages to send to space using AI.

STAI-AWS 2025 Learncation: Nurturing Global Talents with AI for Climate Action
The 「STAI-AWS 2025 Learncation Program」, operated by Cheju Halla University RISE Project for 7 days, brought together over 30 students from KAIST, Yonsei University, and Cheju Halla University under the theme 'AI for Climate Action'. Through hackathons and workshops directly organized by AWS, and special lectures by Vanderbilt University professors, participants learned AI technologies for climate crisis response through hands-on practice.
